Bakery Brera began as a humble neighbourhood bakery with a simple calling: to nourish people through good bread, thoughtful pastries, and heartfelt service. A decade later, we’ve grown into a bakery and café loved across Singapore — but our heart is unchanged. We continue to bake with sincerity, honesty, and care.

Our Story

Where It All Began

Bakery Brera finds its heart in our founder, Thrina Low, and her lifelong love for feeding, hosting, and blessing others. Before she was a baker, she was an engineer, an HR professional, a mother, and someone who opened her home freely.

A providential meeting with a retiring baker at Empress Road opened the door to what became a new season of purpose — baking to nourish bodies, uplift hearts, and build community.

Inspired by the words “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35), Brera was built on the belief that food can offer more than nourishment — it can bring comfort, connection, and hope.

We bake not just to feed, but to uplift. Every pastry and loaf is our way of serving with kindness, extending grace, and sharing a little warmth with everyone who passes through our doors.

Our Craft

Handmade, Always

Every pastry, loaf, and cake is made in-house at our Empress Road bakery. We bake in small batches using premium French and Japanese flours, real butter, and time-honoured methods — long fermentation, careful lamination, and patient handwork.

No premixes. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just honest ingredients and the craft we’ve nurtured with pride.
