Do I have to order online, or can I walk in?
You’re always welcome to walk in! Walk-ins offer the widest variety, especially in the mornings. Our bakery at 8 Empress Road, #01-05, Singapore 260008 is open: Sun–Tue: 7:30am–4pm, and Wed–Sat: 7:30am–5pm (or until sold out).
Why can’t I find certain items online?
Some items are walk-in only due to limited production — such as special danishes, weekend bakes, and tiny-batch items. If you would like to order them, please drop us an email at order.brera@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to help.
How far in advance do I need to order online?
We require 3 days’ advance notice for all online orders. Everything is handmade in small batches, so this gives our bakers enough time to prepare your bakes fresh.
I need my order urgently — can you help?
Please reply to your Order Confirmation email, or message us on WhatsApp with:
• Order number
• Preferred delivery / collection time
We’ll try our best to assist if production allows.
Delivery & Pickup
What are your delivery fees and hours?
Yes, we deliver islandwide in Singapore (excluding offshore islands).
Standard Delivery:
• From $20 per location
• Delivery window is 11am–4pm
Additional Charges:
• +$10 for specific-time requests
• Festive or public holiday surcharges may apply
What happens if no one is home to receive the order?
Your order will be returned to our bakery at 8 Empress Road, #01-05, Singapore 260008. No second delivery or refunds will be provided and you'll have to either self-collect, or arrange your own courier to pick it up.
Is self-collection free?
Yes — collection at our bakery is free. By picking up your order, you’ll also enjoy:

• Guaranteed reservation of fast-selling items
• Green habits (BYO bag/containers encouraged)

How do I pay? Can I pay on collection?
Full payment is required before we confirm or process your order.
I didn’t receive my order confirmation. What should I do?
If you don’t see a Order Confirmation email immediately after placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder. If it's still not there, your email may have been entered incorrectly. Drop us a message with your name and order details so we can help you sort things out.
Can I make changes to my order?
Please reply to your Order Confirmation email ASAP or message us on WhatsApp with:
• Order number
• Your selected delivery / collection time
If production has not begun, we’ll try our best to assist.
Can I cancel my order?
We adopt a strict no-cancellation, no-refund policy, as everything is baked to order. We suggest gifting your order to a loved one or treating it to someone deserving.
Product & Storage
Are your bakes handmade?
Yes. Everything you see on our website is folded, shaped, and baked in-house at our Empress Road bakery. No central kitchen.
Do you use preservatives?
No. We use real butter, premium French or Japanese flours, and fresh, honest ingredients. No premixes, no preservatives, no artificial enhancers.
Do your items contain pork or alcohol?
Items that may contain pork/alcohol include:

How should I store viennoiseries and pastries?
Our viennoiseries — including croissants, cruffins, pain au chocolat, kouign-amann, and sweet or savoury danishes — are made without preservatives and are best enjoyed on the day of purchase.
Storage Guidelines:
- For next day: Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place and consume within 1–2 days
- For up to 3 days: Keep refrigerated in airtight packaging
- For longer storage: Freeze for up to 2 weeks, wrapping well to protect flakiness and flavour
Reheating Suggestions:
- From room temperature: Warm in a 160°C oven for 2–3 minutes
- From fridge: Warm in a 160°C oven for 5–8 minutes
How should I store sandwiches and savoury pastries?
Our savoury bakes — such as sandwiches, tartines, croque monsieur, and ham & cheese croissants — are freshly baked without preservatives and are best enjoyed warm on the day of purchase.
Storage Guidelines:
- For same day: Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place and consume within 1 day
- For up to 3 days: Keep refrigerated in airtight packaging
Reheating Suggestions:
- From room temperature: Reheat in a 180°C oven for 3–5 minutes
- From fridge: Reheat in a 160–180°C oven for about 10 minutes, then allow to rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving
How should I store breads and loaves?
Our sourdough, ciabatta, baguettes, and other artisanal loaves are made without preservatives and are best enjoyed fresh.
Storage Guidelines:
- For up to 3 days: Store well-wrapped at room temperature in a cool, dry place and consume as soon as possible
- For longer storage: Keep frozen in airtight packaging
Reheating Suggestions:
- From room temperature or chilled: Warm in a 180°C oven for 5–8 minutes
- From frozen: Defrost at room temperature for 2–3 hours, then warm in a 180°C oven for 10–15 minutes
Allow the loaf to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing for the best crumb.

Our burger buns, hot cross buns, cinnamon rolls, scones, and muffins are made without preservatives and are best enjoyed fresh.

Our cookies are shelf-stable and labelled with production dates at the bottom of each jar.

- No reheating required — enjoy as is.
How do I store flaky Mid-Autumn mooncakes?
Our flaky Teochew-style mooncakes are delicate and should be stored carefully to preserve their layers and filling.
Storage Guidelines:
- For next day: Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place and consume within 1–2 days
- For up to 3 weeks: Keep frozen (–12°C) within the first day of purchase, where they can be kept for up to 21 days

How do I store Christmas bakes like stollen and panettone?
Our Christmas bakes are made without preservatives and keep best when wrapped and stored carefully.
Storage Guidelines:
- For next day: Store well-wrapped at room temperature in a cool, dry place and consume within 1–2 days
- For up to a week: Keep refrigerated in airtight packaging, and consume within 3-7 days
- For longer storage: Freeze for up to 1 month in airtight packaging

What is the best time to visit the bakery?
• Weekdays: 8:30am–12pm
• Weekends: 8:30am–11am
Earlier = wider variety.
What time are your bakes ready?
Our bakers begin at 4:30am, and items come out in waves:
- 7:30am: Croissants, pain au chocolat, kouign-amann, almond croissants, taro mochi croissants, fruit danishes, savoury danishes, puffs, muffins, scones, croque monsieurs, tartine sandwiches, classic cruffins
- 8:00am: Artisan loaves, baguettes, classic sourdough
- 11:00am: Rustic sourdough, pies, tarts
- 12:30pm: Cruffins (2nd batch; if applicable)
- 1:30pm: Brioche buns, brioche loaves, hot cross buns
Timings are approximate and may vary 30–60 minutes depending on oven use and production pace.
I heard you have special weekend breads — what’s available?
Yes! In addition to our daily favourites like Olive, Sundried Tomato and Walnut Cranberry loaves, we bake a small selection of weekend favourites.
- On Saturdays, we feature Batard, Flaxseed Cranberry and Pain au Cereals
- On Sundays, we offer Batard, Pain au Cereals and Spelt Walnut.
These breads are baked in limited batches, so availability may vary.
How can I reserve items?
Please order via our online shop and select "Store Pickup" to reserve your bakes.
Why do you charge for plastic bags and boxes?
We encourage mindful consumption.
• $0.10 per plastic carrier
• $0.60–$1 per box (depending on size)
Free carrier for purchases above $50. Bring your own bags and enjoy a $0.50 rebate (min. $10 purchase).
Do you supply to F&Bs or corporate events?
